Meta-Gaming rules

  • Meta gaming means using external information that your character would not have access to or know, to get an advantage.

  • Do not use out of out character information or knowledge for in-character purposes. This includes both regular game play, and in-character social interactions.

  • Examples:

    • Using a troll to break copper or out of era trees.

    • Do not use power gaming knowledge to speed run content.

    • Using knowledge from out of character discussions for an in character gain.

    • Making a base on a crypt and locking it with a ward, preventing players from entering the crypt.

  • Reading someone's name and using it after they have texted and using it to describe or to refer to them is Meta, unless they have given you their name

  • Using UI's information in game is forbidden:

    • HP number

    • Stamina Number

    • Damage numbers

    • Names on wards

  • You are allowed to read a player's name on their bed.​

  • Reading someone's map marker and using their name is meta. Hearing about someone's location, name, deeds, crimes, and talking, information like this is meta. You must learn this information in-character.​

  • Do not speak after you get knocked out until you are out of global, speaking while in global is counted as fail RP.

  • Logging out and Logging back in at someone's base is griefing and will be severely punished.

  • Map Markers indicate that the person is open to RP, not state that they are necessarily open to PvP.

  • Tracking someone's marker to just to rob them is not allowed.

  • Spam Raiding is not allowed, do not wait for the cooldown to be over and attack the second it is down.

  • Do not use UI or the menu to see who is online.

  • Do not use mumble globally to hear information your character has no way of knowing.

  • Do not use Mumble to check who is online.

Bleeding:

  • Bleeding happens when actions IC affect OOC Emotions, and People, it is bound to happen to anyone sooner or later, and it is not a problem, however, letting it bottle up and not addressing it is. It may often lead to OOC conflict or being upset, angry, or disliking another person

  • If you think you are bleeding, open a ticket and adress it with the staff team, we are there to help you.
